Gelatin is a by-product of conventional (non-organic) animal processing. To carry the EU Organic label, every part of the product — including the capsule — has to meet organic standards. That means plant-based capsules like HPMC.

HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) is made from plant cellulose. No dyes, no preservatives, no plasticizers. The same fibre found in vegetables and grains — nothing your body hasn't seen before.

For most, yes — but a few nutrients are worth watching. Beef organs are naturally rich in vitamin A, B12, iron and copper. If you're already taking a multivitamin, cod liver oil, or a dedicated iron or B12 supplement, the combined intake can add up quickly. Vitamin A in particular is fat-soluble and stored in the body, so more isn't necessarily better.

For everything else — magnesium, vitamin D, omega-3, probiotics, protein powders — there's no known interaction.

No. The freeze-drying process removes all moisture and most of the smell, and the HPMC capsules are unflavoured and undyed. You may notice a mild earthy note when first opening the bottle — this fades after a few days. Swallowed with water, the capsules have no aftertaste.

It sounds strange to modern ears because we've forgotten ancestral nutrition. Each organ is sourced separately from our two Latvian organic farms and freeze-dried in its own run at -40°C — because testicles and liver need different drying times to preserve their nutrients properly. Only once each is finished is the blend combined in precise ratios and bottled.
